Autumn Term Newsletter Friday 17th November 2023
This Week has flown by: 1 Year 7 Parents Evening, 2 taster days, 3 Parental tours, 4 inter school fixtures, A year 11 Anti Bullying Assembly and a busy charity day on Friday! Add to that theatre trips and the senior mathematicians heading to Birmingham University, it all adds up to another busy week at Bowbrook!
Thank you to all the pupils and staff for such a busy and successful week…
Malta Trip
As we are approaching the end of term, and the time is ticking away before we depart to Malta, can all attendees please ensure that payments are up to date. As a reminder of the schedule sent out a payment of £290 was due on 10th October and a payment of £189 on the 11th November. The final payment of £291 is then due on 5th January. These can be made via BACs, Cheque or cash. A parents evening will be booked in and shared with you shortly to go through the details of the trip, and Mr Swain will also be in contact with parents regarding passenger information for the flights.

News from the Prep School
It’s been a been a busy week in the Prep School this week with trips out and supporting Children in Need. Thank you everyone for your kind donations.
On Thursday we had a visitor from the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust who took our assembly, we learnt all about the many different species of bees, pollination and what we can do to help their habitats.
Our Star Pupils this week are:
- N/R - Skye Worth for using beautiful manners.
- I1 - Ryder Cassidy for making a super clay Emperor Penguin.
- I2 - Elena Svancara for producing a fabulous guide in RS
- J3 - Harry Stephens for always being bright and cheerful.
- J4 - Sienna Comens for brilliant focus and independence.
- J5 - Orla Dunne for her Current Affairs and sparking a class discussion.
- J6 - Georgie Dicken for her expressive performance poetry that she wrote.
Very well done everybody.
A reminder please that our Book Fair will be open after school on Monday and Wednesday if next week in the school hall, maybe you could start your Christmas Shopping!!
