Parents’ Committee
Bowbrook House School has an active Parents’ Committee (PC) whose main focus is fundraising and organising social events for both parents and pupils.
Events are held throughout the year. The first is the ‘September Social’ where we meet new families and catch up with old friends after the summer break. Regular ‘Pop Up Cafés’ also take place throughout the year. T
The long-running Christmas Fayre and Summer Fete are firm favourites in the school calendar.
The PC work with the school to raise valuable funds which are used for a range of school projects. Fundraising has including:
• Resurfacing of the Infant playarea
• Refurb of the Cricket Nets
• Hockey & Rugby Kit and Equipment
The ‘Outdoor Classroom’ project, a covered space for outdoor learning within the natural environment which will be available for use by children of all year groups.
Previous fundraising efforts have secured an adventure playground, Samba drums and Duke of Edinburgh equipment.
We are extremely grateful for the help and support of our parents, children and family members and wider community who come together to ensure these events are so successful. The PC are always keen to hear from parents with ideas and suggestions. Meetings are held every half term and are open to all Bowbrook parents and guardians. Dates and times of meetings are published in the weekly E-News and minutes are distributed to keep everyone up to date on activities.
Thank you to all those who supports the 100 Club which greatly contributes our fundraising and allows us to enhance the pupils Bowbrook experience.
If you are unable to make meetings but have suggestions or would like to learn more, the PC can be contacted at BowbrookPC@gmail.com. Alternatively come along to one of the social events organised throughout the year to meet our friendly members.
