This week in Numbers
9 taster days, 7 fixtures or tournaments, 5 parental tours, 2 Annie rehearsals and 1 Rags to Riches collection! With the last week of November fast approaching that means GCSE mock exams and a very busy run in to Christmas! Revision for Year 11 but with some end of term fun to look forward to as well!
Thank you for your support with Rags 2 Riches. It looked a healthy pile of bags and we will let you know the amount raised when they tell us.

Art News
Art Clubs: KS3 Arts & Crafts Club continues for students during Thursday lunch break for years 7, 8 and 9. We have 2 weeks left to complete the decorations for our Cathedral tree! KS4 clubs will continue as normal this week on Tuesday lunch and 4-5pm on Wednesday for year 10 students and for year 11s if they feel able to attend during mock week.
ISA Comic Strip Competition templates will be coming home with year 7, 8 and 9 students over the next week. I look forward to seeing all of the lovely designs and ideas in the coming weeks!
Finally, if you have any old newspaper at home, we would be very grateful of them in the Art rooms!!

Worcester Foodbank Donations
Our annual collection of donations for Worcester Foodbank was launched in assembly this week and students are encouraged to bring in any individual items or a Christmas bag. Full information can be found on the attached flyer and has also been sent home this week. Donations can be left at the bottom of the Art room stairs from next week (Monday 24th November) with final donations being brought in by 5th December. Many thanks in advance for your generosity.

We are currently putting together the schedule for after Christmas and will send this home with students before we break up for the holiday.

News from the Prep School
We had lots of Ancient Greeks in school this week in Prep school. They were dancing and singing in the hall and doing lessons with Mrs Thorneywork. A big thank-you to Year 5 for an amazing assembly, where we learnt all about Ancient Greece and came away singing their catchy tunes! Please do check out our socials for photos.

Social Media [ View Bowbrook Prep School Social Media – Results ] We had our final Stay and Play for this term – thank-you to Mrs Geisler and Miss White for the fantastic sessions in our Forest School. They start up again on Wednesday, 14th January 2026. Nativity It’s been lovely to hear this week….the corridors are filled with Nativity songs, as well as the songs being performed at the Abbey. Some of these songs will be included in |
the Christingle service, led by J3/4 on Thursday next week in the church. We will be running some stalls at the Christmas Fayre – one of which is Christmas sweets in a jar (J5) Could we ask the children to bring in a jam jar filled with Christmas sweets and send to Mrs Thorneywork’s class please.
