Spring Term Newsletter Friday 22nd January 2024
Thank you to all pupils, parents and staff involved in today’s Open Day. It was hugely successful with 17 families looking round from Nursery to Year 9…and 6 Year 5 for some reason! Great feedback from our visitors who all agreed that our pupils ‘were a real credit to us’. So, thank you!
Rags 2 Riches collection is next Thursday 25th
Drop off outside the music room from Monday onwards… great cause and easy fundraiser!
Calling all Equestrians
In the past we have had an Equestrian Squad that have been members of the NSEA, National Schools Equestrian Association, giving access to competitions around the country and in different disciplines.
If you would like to join the squad then please contact Pippa Wilkinson, her email is derekandpips@btopenworld.com.
If you have been a member before and would like to either rejoin or step down then again please let Pippa know.
Paris and Malta trips looming
Paris trip update,
Thank you to all those parents who have now paid in full and a gentle reminder to those who have yet to pay the final instalment – our final payment to PGL is due today.
We should shortly receive a schedule for our visit and I will be holding a meeting for parents and students as soon as the finer details are finalised.
In the meantime, if you are not intending to travel abroad with your child between now and the 22nd March, could I ask that you hand in your child’s passport and current EHIC / GHIC card at the school office. Some of the details are needed to complete the paperwork and it would be helpful to be able to do this well in advance. Passports and insurance cards will be kept safely in school until needed for the trip.
