Year 3 are Blue Peter badge Winners!

Year 3 pupils at Bowbrook House School have received their Blue Peter Book Badges after sending the show some reviews of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox. Eight-year-old, Harry said, ‘I really enjoyed the story, my favourite character was Mr Fox because he was really brave’. The pupils completed questions and drawings about the book and waited a tantalising few months for the badges to arrive. The badge itself was designed by illustrator Sir Quentin Blake, who created the drawings of Mr Fox and his friends, so it’s a nice connection to the story. Class Teacher, Miss Tait said, ‘we based our English work on the text from the book and the children wrote some lovely newspaper articles, diary entries and story boards. We have a great library full of exciting books and pupils from Year 10 listen to our young readers each week.
