Winners of the Independent School of the Year for 2024
Winners of the Independent School of the Year for 2024, tops a very positive ISI report (publication due any day now) and starts the Summer Term off with such a positive feel.
At a packed house at the Bank House Hotel over 250 guests were welcomed by the Chancellor of Newnham University of Birmingham. It was a highly polished black tie affair with a palpable nervousness from the finalists as each category was read out by Julian Wharam; DJ for BRMB but also an educator in his own right as an assistant principal of a Birmingham high school.
Finalists in three categories, we narrowly missed out on STEM Project of the Year and on Headteacher/Principal of the Year…However to have been nominated and to have reached the final three in these categories too is in itself an achievement and fantastic recognition.
The last of our three nominations was the Independent School of the Year category and I was pinning all my hopes on success in this the last of our three category nominations!
To win Independent School of the Year recognises the whole school community; pupils, parents and staff from all departments and is an award for the whole of our happy and hardworking community.
2024. Worcestershire Education Awards: Independent School of the Year. Congratulations everyone!
Bowbrook continues its track record of being an award-winning school both in the County and Nationally at ISA! Make sure you tell all your friends. We are very proud of our school and we hope you are too.
We await, what we are sure will be, a very positive ISI report and as soon as it is available for publication, we will ensure all parents have a copy and that it is available on the school’s website.
As I say – a very positive start to the summer term!
