Wind in the Willows – Sold Out!

Wind in the Willows rehearsals are in full swing and a sense of urgency is begining to creep in as the school hears the news that we are ‘sold out’! All three evening performances have sold out ina record time and there are only ten tickets left for the matinee performance…it all adds to the anticipation!

The recent snow gave us the opportunity to fit in extra rehearsals. The charm of the Nursery ‘ducks’ as they waddled onto the stage to practice their movements. The ‘woodland creatures’ from Years 3-4 flew and scrambled into the Wild Wood. Years 5-6 completed their ensemble performances ‘Stop him! Stop him! He’s a dangerous criminal’ and their beautiful representation of a train!

Mrs Lewis worked on the Year 8 ‘Stoats’ and Mr Auden on the Year 7 ‘Weasels’…There are so many Staff and Pupils to thank already for their invaluable effort and input…they are all committed to making our show a visual, aural and emotional success.

From 3 1/2 – 16 Years of age every year group is represented and every pupil from Year 9 down is on stage. This truly is a ‘whole school’ performance and it will be playing to a ‘sold out’ crowd!
