French Exchange Meeting 6th May

French Exchange – The return visit

With our return visit to Bethune less than a month away, I should like to meet at 4.15 on Tuesday, 6th May in S5, to discuss the final details. I will share the final itinerary. It will also be an opportunity for me to collect passports, GHICs and medical permission letters (see below) and store them safely until needed.
There will also be time to address any questions or concerns you may have about our stay in France.

I’m very much looking forward to the return leg and expect the children are too!
JW

Hoodies… We would like to invite the pupils who are going on the French trip to design a logo for the back of the hoody. Please submit designs to Mrs Heaume by Friday 2nd May at the latest. Needs to contain the wording Bethune, Mai 2025. Please see information about Bethune/ France etc and copies of the previous design. The design needs to be easily transferable.

Medical information.
All pupils going to Bethune will receive a general medical consent letter, which needs to be returned to Mrs Heaume as soon as possible. For pupils who have any medical conditions and take specific medications, parents will need to complete the more detailed forms and we will give these to them shortly.

Many thanks

Mr Whittingham and Mrs Heaume

@BowbrookArts

We are looking forward to a busy and exciting summer term in the Art department and, to start it off productively, thank you and well done to Sally and Lizzie on their entries into the ISA Digital Arts Competition for 2025.

Years 7, 8 and 9 students will be learning about and taking part in a range of Community Arts experiences throughout this term.

Projects will include 80th Anniversary VE Day celebrations and the Young Voices New Visions Exhibition, which takes place during the summer at Worcester Cathedral.

There will also be opportunities to artistically support Bowbrook School events such as the Summer Concert and Summer Fayre. Check the e-news each week for regular updates and announcements.

GCSE Art Clubs will begin next week and will take place every Tuesday lunchtime and Thursday from 4-5pm. I look forward to seeing the year 10 students at these times.
