Art Room News
Congratulations to those students whose work was printed onto the Summer Concert programme and to all of Key Stage 3 for their lovely summer artwork, which decorated the marquee for the occasion.
It may almost be the end of term, but students are still working hard in the Art rooms. A great attendance from year 10 to the Thursday late-night workshop and some very exciting painting skills from KS3 for the current Bowbrook Rocks project.
These rocks will be coming home over the summer with students to bring a smile to someone else’s face. Leave them for others to find when you are on a walk, on a day trip or on your holiday!
A reminder that we warmly invite all Bowbrook families and friends to the GCSE Art Exhibition for 2025, taking place during Sports Day and Speech Day on 9th July.
An opportunity for our year 11 students to showcase their huge efforts and talents and for you to experience their creative journeys and outcomes. In addition, year 10 Art students will be giving you a glimpse of their current ‘work in progress’. It is sure to be a feast for the eyes!
More to follow… Have a good weekend everyone!
