Good Luck to Year 11
So GCSEs have started and S11 are now on Study leave. Many I am sure will still be in for revision and extra study sessions. We wish them all the very best of luck for their GCSEs.
The great Waddle of Worcester Draws Near!
A huge THANK YOU to Harper Hartwell for her winning design and to the team of Year 9 and 10 and Miss Arthur who worked so hard on the painting. We are not allowed to reveal our design before the ‘Waddle’ takes place. If you did see my tweet and wonder why it was taken down…it was because I was told off by the Waddle Police for my early publicity!
It is a great design Harper and I can’t wait to see the penguin on display in Worcester.
We would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Ben and Olivia Tanner (Both former pupils of Bowbrook) at AA Salt for sponsoring us again this year to support St Richard’s Hospice.
News from the Prep School
This week we hosted an athletics tournament for 6 visiting schools. All of Year 5 and 6 took part and reportedly competed very well, thank you to Mr Swain for organising this event for us.
A couple of our form teachers have noticed that some pupils have not got all of their school uniform named. With the slightly warmer weather we are struggling to pair up unnamed uniform with their owners. Please check over the weekend. Any unclaimed items are handed in to lost property in the office.
This week our Prep Star Pupils are:
- N/R - Hudson Hartwell for fantastic reading.
- I1 - Eretria Bolt for helping with the class animation.
- I2 - George Peacop for excellent swimming.
- J3 - Ariel Lewsey for showing excellent manners both in and oit of the classroom.
- J4 - George Stephens for much improved behaviour and manners.
- J5 - Jack Jones for brilliant work in maths.
- J6 - Samuel Bowditch for his mature attitude.
