Holiday news

For those who follow our socials you will have seen the new school signage as part of our ongoing diamond jubilee, 70th celebrations and the new ‘Parent Hub’ (we are not sure of its official title just yet) but a more comfortable and permanent base for second hand uniform and parents meetings, including a kitchenette and changing room.

A tradition after Christmas dinner which was conducted in a fantastic spirit and was full of effort and enthusiasm from the pupils and staff!
 
57 Sports fixtures and tournaments in the Autumn term. An average of 4.4 a week.
Overall played 35 matches. Won 16. Drew 1. Lost 18.

In a 12 week term and ‘expecting’ an average of 4 pluses a week, the avergae for the last term would have been 48 Pluses.
 
Year 9 currently have the best pluses average as a year group.

Congratulations too to all pupils for their efforts over the term, from accelerated reader and TTRS to colours for Music or Sport. There was lots to celebrate last term and I look forward to the Spring Term and our Arts festival being just as exciting. Remember to challenge yourselves, put yourself forward and give it your best shot!
 
Oh! And thank you to Mrs Brookes and to all the staff involved in the Staff Pantomime… Great fun and a fantastic way to end the term! Oh yes it was!
