We have had some technical issues with our school server on Friday afternoon. During an upgrade by external engineers, we lost our wi-fi and our access to the server, so also the printers and the telephones were down. This week’s e-news is therefore slightly shorter. Arts Week: 2 weeks to go until Arts Week and there have been lots of exciting discussions about the activities on offer, competition entries and who will perform in BGT!! The competition handout is attached and students are encouraged to choose what they would like to enter and get started now.

Prep school news
What a busy week! Lots of great learning happening in Prep. Reception wrote a menu for a giant; Years 1&2 wrote a traditional take; Year 3 designed and built mosques; Year 4 weighed the carbon dioxide in fizzy drinks; Year 5 made camera obscures from early Islamic empire; J6 completed ratio challenges for a recipe for cookies, then made and ate them!
Miss White did an Arts Week launch assembly. All children are asked to enter two competitions – there are 11 plus Bowbrook’s Got Talent!
