Middle School Bowl:
Awarded to a year 8 or 9 pupil who has made a positive all round contribution to life in the Middle School.
The Middle School Bowl is awarded to a pupil who has been an upstanding member of our school community and made valuable contributions to a range of whole activities across Key Stage Three; this young man certainly fulfils the criteria. He was in close contention for the Jean Baylis Plate in Year 6 for services to the Prep School and having been at Bowbrook for 10 years has certainly put the ‘hard yards’ in over that time…

Presented to the School by Mrs Ann Chaplin, the longest serving member of staff in the history of Bowbrook House School. The cup is presented to pupils who uphold the school motto “Working with Pride”.

Presented to the school by Mrs Barter Dossett, Geography teacher and parent at the school for 25 years for outstanding Independent study…the award is so named in recognition of her love of Geography and her sense of humour.

A new award for 2014 Presented by the Von Niebel family for the student who has made the most significant progress at KS4.

Headmasters Cup:
Awarded at the discretion of the Headmaster…….
The young man who receives this cup is not loud, never fusses or asks for attention, has worked meticulously over the last few years and made real progress. He has a strength of character and maturity that many find reassuring.
Since he was 3 ½ , he has never given less than 100% to Bowbrook. His enthusiasm never wains.
I don’t think he has ever had a crossed word with his peers (well not that I know of?!) and has never had an order mark or been in a detention.
He has worked exceptionally hard in the challenging circumstances.
All these qualities have been noted by many staff and make him the deserving recipient of this award. Congratulations.
