National triathlon success

4 Pupils travelled to Lucton school in Herefordshire to take part in the ISA national triathlon this month.

A long course and a gruelling day tested all for boys to the limits.

A 400 m swim, a 10K bike ride and a 5k run in warm temperatures tested their fitness and their mental stamina.

John Orr form Year 9 and Harry Mogg, Morgan Thompson and Guy Anderson all from Year 11 competed well. Overall on the day using Mr Geisler’s timing we had Guy Anderson down for a very close 2nd place overall. The others competed well and all finished in the top 20 which is to be commended.

Well done boys it was a brave effort on a warm day!
