Hola!

Hola!  Another amazing, immersive language day at Bowbrook House School.  This time focusing on Spanish.  The children arrived in an array of red and yellow outfits, icluding some flamenco dresses, answering the register with a ‘Buenas Dias’.  

This was followed by a carousel of creative activities including making Mexican maracas, Peruvian llamas and Spanish fans.  They then used their fans in their flamenco dance lesson.  All whilst using their language.  

When asked how the day was going, Elina in Year 2 answered, ‘Estupendo!’

The children then worked together collaboratively to do a Gaudi inspired piece of Artwork.  

After the Easter holidays the children will begin their Italian lessons and the teachers are already planning their Italian day in the Summer term.
