Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

Nursery and reception class were ‘over the moon’ when they received a letter form the Queen!

The class had all made a birthday card for Her Majesty’s 90th birthday celebrations and had walked to the local post office to buy a stamp and post it off…bu they never anticiated a reply!

The Queen’s private secretary wrote back to say that Her Majesty had very much enjoyed their card and their good wishes and hoped they had a wonderful party when celebrating her 90th birthday.

The class received a photo and signed letter on Royal household paper to say ‘Thank You’.

They enjoyed a wonderful red, white and blue themed picnic in the grounds with traditional party games such as musical chairs and pass the parcel and then sang Happy Birthday your Majesty!
