GCSEs 2026
The results are in!
A very pleasing set of GCSE results for pupils at Bowbrook. Recognising the hard work of pupils and staff across the last two years. Well done Year 11 of 2026.
Headline figures from GCSE results day are:
% of all GCSEs at 4+: 91%
% of Pupils achieving 5 GCSEs at 4+ inc. Eng and Maths: 85%
% achieving 5+ GCSEs at grade 4+: 89%
% of GCSEs at Grade 7+ (old A/A*) 34%
But remember what I said on Speech Day; a GCSE certificate is but one measurement of you, your journey through life…many of you have succeeded already in so many ways!

Headmaster Chris Allen went on to say; “Success is measured in many ways and GCSEs are but one measure of a pupil. I feel all of my Year 11s in this years’ cohort have succeeded in many ways prior to results day but this is just the icing on the cake.”
“As a non-selective school I am very proud of their achievements and of the dedicated teaching staff; 7 subjects achieving a 100% pass rate at 4+, including English Lit, all 3 sciences, Business Studies, Art and Computer Science displaying the strength of teaching and the commitment of the pupils.”
