GCSE Success again…!

The GCSE results this year again reflect very well on the hard work of the pupils, the teaching and guidance of the staff and the support of the parental body.

Mr Allen, Headmaster was extremely pleased with this year’s results. “In the first year of the linear exams introduced by the government I am delighted that the students’ efforts have been rewarded. They have achieved a 100% pass rate at GCSE yet again with 76.7% of those being at A*-C. It is extremely pleasing to see 70.4% of our pupils gaining 5+ GCSEs at A* – C including both English and Maths.”
 
Being a ‘non-selective’ school Bowbrook is very proud of it value added and of the achievements of all the pupils across a spectrum of the grades.

Mrs Harfield, Deputy Headteacher and Head of Maths was again delighted by her GCSE success; 96% pass rate at A* – C this year and 37% of those at A*/A.

Other departments and subjects can be equally pleased; Mr Allen was full of praise for the teachers in Physics, ICT, Geography, Physical Education, French, Business Studies, Humanities and Classics, all of whom achieved a 100% pass rate at A* – C…which is excellent!
