GB Dance Winner

Aless Enwright of Year 11 taken part in and won the GB Irish Dance Championships held this year at Bognor Regis.

Aless is part of a 16 strong senior figure team and trains five times a week with them. Their winning dance was to ‘The tides of Stranford Loch’ and told the story of how Christianity was brought to Ireland.

Following the success at the GB championships the team went on to compete in the ‘All Irelands’ and won again! The vote was unanimous from all 6 judges.

Aless also dances with the ceili team in the solo competition and last year competed with sucess at the world irish dance championships.
