The children wrote some lovely facts in Infants this week based on the book ‘Hibernation hotel’ – the children used visual prompts from the story to write some super sentences.   I was so impressed with their work. 

 

Year 6 children have been very busy and highly creative with their tasks for the Tudors home project.  They brought in lots of different creations including a 3D Tudor farm, an estate agents brochure for a house in Tudor times; a minecraft Tudor house and contents, a video tour of a Tudor house, powerpoint presentations and some children even made their own butter, inspired by our visit to Mary Arden’s farm at the beginning of the year.  

 

The children then did their fabulous musical assembly called Henry VIII, where Henry and his six wives were in their portraits and came to life.  We are so very proud of each of the children as they all participated and really enjoyed the play/songs for this assembly.  Please do check out our Prep socials to see some great photos, as well as a lovely clip where we have the whole school up singing one of our songs, the Mary Rose.  You might even spot Mr Bury in there!
