Iceland 2013 Report
Mr Clear and Mr Mills led a Geography based trip to Iceland over the Easter holiday; and the overall view of the pupils? “Awesome!”

The Iceland experience lived up to all its pre-trip billing. The five days were action packed and left us in no doubt as to the awe and wonder that Iceland has to offer. We were captivated by the beauty of the magnificent waterfalls including Gullfoss, wew were challenged by the ascent up Stori-Dimon Volcano and we were battered by the elements on the Reynishverfi beach.
It is difficult to truly capture and do justice to the remarkable, breathtaking and once in a lifetime scenery in either words or pictures. However those who went on the trip will have memories to last lifetime as well as many unique experiences like glacier walking and snorkelling in frost temperature crystal clear waters.
Even though we were intrepid explorers, we maintained Bowbrook standards throughought and our guides and driver were continually complimenting us on our manners and behaviour. An amazing time was had by all. Thank you to all the pupils.Mr P. Clear. Head of Geography.
My thanks go to Mr Clear and to Mr Mills for their time and leadership on this adventurous trip which was undertaken safely and was enjoyable for all. It is good to hear that the pupils were noticed for their good manners and their behaviour. Well done! Mr Allen, Headmaster.
