County Golf Colours for Megan!

Congratulations to Megan Evans of Year 8 who, over the half term holiday, has earned her Junior Golf Colours from the Worcestershire and Herefordshire County Golf Association.

The County Girls held their pre-season day at Ombersley Golf Course over the half term and Megan was presented with her colours by the County President Biddy Denton (pictured)

Megan was first selected to play for Worcestershire and Herefordshire’s County junior team in April 2012 (handicap 28). She began by playing in the ‘experience matches’, progressed to the ‘friendlies’ in 2013 (handicap 16) and began playing League matches (playing off scratch).

Now playing off 12.5 Megan is looking to progress into the senior Ladies County 2nd team…watch this space!
