Snowdrops for St Richard’s Hospice

Pupils from the Nursery class through to Year 9s planted over 1000 snowdrop bulbs in the grounds to raise awareness of the work done by St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester.

Following an assembly which explained the work of the hospice and how it helps children and families we all ventured out together to take on the planting task to raise awareness and funds for the organisation.

Mrs Ridge, who heads up the prep school said “The pupils really enjoyed planting the bulbs and raising money for this very worthwhile charity. They will now know why the snowdrop is used as a symbol for the St Richard’s Hospice here in Worcester.”

The school was presented with a plaque from the hospice which cares for 2,500 patients, their loved ones and carers each year in Worcestershire.
