Worcestershire Education Awards 2017

We are very proud that Bowbrook will be so well represented at the prestigious Worcestershire Education Awards 2017. The awards are run by Worcester university in conjunction with their sponsors and are county-wide and include all educational settings, state, independent, special, nursery, primary and secondary schools.

We were pleased to be nominated in the Primary School of the Year award category. We had 5 staff nominated in the Teacher of the Year category; Mrs Harfield, Mr Mills, Mr Ansty, Mrs Bridge and Mr Clear. Mrs Farr was alos nominated in the Unsung Hero’ category. My congratulations go to them for obviously making a difference.

In total we had 10 nominations or categories…more than any other school in Worcestershire!

We are delighted to be in the Final Three for The Secondary School of the Year and for Headmaster/Principal of the Year awards. We shall keep our fingers crossed for the finals to be held at a gala dinner at the Worcester Arena on the evening of June 16th.

These awards and these nominations speak volumes for the pride and dedication the teaching staff here at Bowbrook. We have a professional and caring staff who work very well as a team. We are very fortunate.
