New teaching block nears completion.
The new ‘senior’ block of five new classrooms and a second science lab is nearing completion. It is hoped that teaching will start in there in January 2018.
The new facilities which will add five new, light and spacious classrooms and a second science lab to the teaching facilities is eagerly awaited by pupils and staff alike. Smaller classrooms in the main Georgian house will be used for tutorial rooms, small group teaching and learning support as well as for parent interviews.

New state of the art touch screens will enhance the airy space and enable teachers to be both flexible and adventurous in the lesson planning.
The half a million pound investment builds on the schools success in the Worcestershire teaching awards of 2017 which were coordinated by the University of Worcester in conjunction with the Worcester News. In these awards Bowbrook House School was the only school out of ALL education providers, state, free, academies, independents, to win two awards on the night. Winning both the ‘Senior School of the Year’ and the ‘Headmaster/Principal of the Year’ has recognised the tremendous work done by the staff at Bowbrook.
“Small enough to care and large enough to challenge” the school’s reputation continues to go from strength to strength and the investment by the Headmaster Mr Allen is a testament to his vision for the school. “Not all independent schools are the same. We offer a different approach which puts the individual child at the heart of what we do” Said Mr Allen.
An impressive investment which continues to build onthe schools recent successes. The new teaching block will be eargerly awaited by all!
The school has for the third year running reached the ‘finals’ of the National ISA Awards. The ceremony to be held at a black tie gala dinner in Coventry will see Bowbrook in the final three schools in the country out of 358 ISA schools. Again looking at ‘Senior school provision’ and also for ‘Excellence in School Sport’. The school hopes to go one better than its runner up slot last year!
