Worcester’s Giraffe Trail. Summer 2018

Worcester summer of Art got under way with the St Richard’s Giraffe Trail. The Bowbrook giraffe, Gerald, has escaped from school and now takes pride of place at the top of the escalator in the Crowngate shopping centre.Mrs Tanner, a former parent and sponsor of this initiative from AA Salt and Mrs Mellor, Head of Art went along to the opening by the Mayor of Worcester. The display will on throughout the whole of the summer and there are 30 life size giraffes to spot around the city.
