Have you bought your tickets yet? Friday evening is already 80% sold!
Open Morning today:
30 sets of parents around today for our Open Day. That is the busiest January open day since records began… (1999 – 2000!) It shows there is still a demand for a respectful, happy, small, nurturing, yet challenging school experience!

A massive ‘Thank You!’ to all the pupils who acted as guides. The pupils, with their very honest opinions of their school experience, are our best advert by far. My thanks also to the parents who gave freely of their time to come in to chat to visitors today… Thank you.

News from the Prep School
What an end to the work, with so many visitors in Prep School, led by the fabulous tour guides! It was great to have the opportunity to show our visitors our school and let the children chat to them about life at Bowbrook.
We have all been busy getting into our exciting topics this term and it’s been lovely to see the work the children are doing as I visit other classes. Do look on our socials for some photos of fabulous artwork and Science investigations.
We welcomed back our families for Stay and Play this week. Do let friends know if they have a child under 4 and wish to join us. it’s a very welcoming group, on every Wednesday at 9.30am.
We joined together this week to have a singing assembly – singing some good old favourites. Oliver (Y1) told me that his favourite was ‘This little light of mine.’ We also had Stars of the week, now we’ve been back over a week.
They are:
- N/R - Ralph - for great listening and joining in with music lessons
- 1&2 - Delilah - for trying hard in all she does and being a good role model for the younger pupils
- 3&4 - Elena - enthusiastic start to the year
- 5 - Olivia W - confidence in Maths
- 6 - Rory J - for a persuasive speech in character as Hippocrates!
Have a lovely weekend all.
