Happy summer! @BowbrookArts
House of Lords Zoom with the School Council:
Monday morning, members of the school council had the opportunity to take part in a meeting with a member of the House of Lords.
We were grateful to have spoken to Lord Bates, who was nominated for the role after being a member of the House of Commons for many years. We received great advice and responses to our questions, such as: how to run a successful school council.
We also learnt how the House of Lords and their meetings work, along with Lord Bate’s background, education and personal beliefs about education.
Have a great summer everyone…
