Bowbrook Remembers
Two very poignant services held at Peopleton church were the highlight of this week. Pupils from Year 5 up to Year 11 got to remember those who gave their lives in service, those who served and those who continue to serve.
My personal thanks go to Cameron Evans of Year 11 and Ayla Wood of Year 6 who read their own compositions out at our service. Beautiful poems. And to Albert Blinston for his playing of the last post, which was impressive. Very well done to you all and thank you.

ISA Midlands U16’s Rugby 7’s Bronze Medalists
Congratulations to the Bowbrook U16’s Rugby 7’s squad showcased their skills and determination in the ISA Midlands 7-a-side rugby tournament held on Wednesday in Market Bosworth. The team displayed a commendable performance, securing a well-deserved 3rd place overall in a series of closely contested matches. Full report attached.
Bags for Life: Supporting the Worcester foodbank.
Paper copies are being sent home this week with donations to be brought to school between 20th and 24th November. Leaflet and details attached.
Book Fair
Come and join us for a pop-up Scholastic Book Fair on Friday 17th, Monday 20th & Wednesday 22nd November. The event will take place in the school hall each afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm.
Hundreds of new children’s books will be available to browse and buy with something on offer for all ages. There’s sure to be a book for everyone!
Every book sold Bowbrook will earn points towards new books to top up resources.

Date for your diaries:
Our Carol Service this year is taking place on Thursday 7th December at Pershore Abbey.
Students in Years 3-9 will be involved as well as our Year 11 prefects, several Year 10 and Year 11 musicians. We are looking forward to welcoming you at this special celebration.
Music Extra-Curricular has begun this week. Please could there now be full attendance at all rehearsals in preparation for our performances in the Carol Services.
Last week we were fortunate to be able to visit Peopleton Church to take part in a special service to pay our respects to our armed forces community, past and present. Albert Blinston in Year 10 contributed beautifully by playing ‘The Last Post’ for both services on his Clarinet. Thank you Albert; this was a perfect, moving tribute and a credit to our school.
I would also like to mention our Year 11 GCSE musicians who have given superb performances this week as part of their controlled assessment preparation. Very well done.
Finally, I would like to thank Penny Mills in Year 7 for leading the Lower Chamber Choir vocal warm ups this week with great confidence and charisma! Brilliant leadership Penny!

French Flash Academy
The issues with Flash Academy have been resolved. Students should be able to access their accounts and continue with their learning as before. Homeworks involving the app are likely to be set in the near future so it would be a good idea to check that you can access the app again using the same login details.
