2nd National ISA Award

Bowbrook house school has received its second National award from the ISA in three years. To go with the National Award for Excellence in 2010 the school has now scooped the top prize for Individual GCSE Success.

The Whitbread Memorial Prize is given to the individual pupil who achieves the highest GCSE grades in all of the 330 schools in the ISA.

In 2013 Emily Allen achieved 10 A* grades and the highest grade possible in Further Maths, an A. Her achievement can be viewed as a genuine product of the school’s success as Emily has been at Bowbrook since she was 3 years of age. She has progressed through the Infants, Juniors, Middle and Senior Schools and naturally we are delighted and very proud of her success which reflects on the whole school.

The award was presented to Emily by Mr Richard Walden who is the current chairman of the Independent Schools Association.

Emily has gone on to an academic scholarship at the Kings School Worcester where she is studying A levels in Mathes, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology.
