2015 GCSE Success!

Once again Year 11 have done us proud.

For those who like statistics:

100% A* – E
77% got 5+ GCSE grades A* – C
with 29% A and A* grades.

Some subject such as Maths 100% A* – C with 44% A/A* did very well. As did English Lit. Biology, Chemistry,Geography, and GCSE PE all achieving 100% A* – C. My congratulations to the pupils and to their teaching staff.

Statistics do not tell the whole story however and some of the ‘personal journeys’ undertaken by pupils who achieved 1B and 5C grades as an example, fill me with tremendous pride. We can’t all be A/A* students and it is knowing the individual and in helping them to fulfill their potential, whatever that might be, that gives me and all the staff the greatest satisfaction.
